Illuminated Perfume Chaparral® - 森林巫女香

 Illuminated Perfume 是在 etsy 上極受歡迎的天然香水品牌，我於5月已訂購，經歷幾番波折後還來得及帶香水們到花東及台北之旅試聞。

不過，當然我是拖到今日才有心機寫review。

今日抽到的香是 Chaparral。

Chaparral 是香水師 Roxana 以加州為題的系列 The Carlifornia Series ，以野外、牛仔牛女為靈感的一款香。Chaparral 有香水與香膏，我試的是以蜂臘與天然植物油為基底的香膏。

一聞這香，我便想：假如森林裡有與世隔絕、每天努力修練魔法的巫女，這就是她的氣味了。香膏的底子是深沉的沉香與燻香（incense）味，理應是一款極為溫暖的味道，但跳躍的乳香（frankincense）與鼠尾草卻令它有種原野的香草氣息。乳香作為樹脂類，我總認為該是深沉溫暖的，卻是很醒神，類近herbs的氣味，而鼠尾草（我想應該是white sage）亦有一款近乎刺鼻的醒神感（類似迷迭香、帶涼感的herb），整體來說是uplifting得來卻又帶小平靜感的香氣。

又或，魔女宅急便的小魔女長大後，假如你在街上偶然見到一個充滿 energy，看似平和、眼神卻野性（不是sexy的野性）的女子，身邊飄過大概就是這味道。

不過話說回來，Illumniated Perfume 的作品幾乎都有一種古老巫術的感覺 —— Roxana 熱愛大自然，在自家花園種滿不少當地品種，品牌的每支香水香膏都由她親手調配，只用上天然的材料，有些甚至是來自她親自種的植物與自家養蜂得來的蜂臘，甚 至是貝殼、海藻等令人意想不到的材料。

雖然我常說香水最緊要是氣味，但從 Roxana 的網站看到她的presentation，再聞聞她的看似簡單卻複雜的香，的確令人感到每一款香水不單是一種氣味，而是一個又一個不同的故事。

在 Roxana 的etsy shop 可買到香水或香膏的sample set，每顆小香膏只得拇指大小，還印上了蠟印，以絲絨索繩小袋子包著送到，真的非常貼心，每次用都有種小奢華感。就好像從前淑女在出門前用舊式泵噴香水 在空氣中然後轉圈讓香水均勻灑在身上的感覺。呃，失禮了。
